MatchCream helps you choose skincare by analysing photos you choose to share with us. That only works if you can trust us with them — this page explains, in plain language, what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
Your account details (name and email), the photos you upload for an analysis (your skin photo and your cream photos), your questionnaire answers, and the reports we generate for you.
Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — MatchCream never sees or stores your card number.
How we use it
Photos and questionnaire answers are used for one purpose: generating your personalised analysis. Our AI provider processes the images to read product labels and assess fit for your skin profile.
We use your email to sign you in (passwordless links), to send you the reports and support updates you request, and — if you opt in — occasional product news.
How long we keep it
Uploaded photos are automatically deleted 30 days after an analysis. Your reports and questionnaire answers stay in your account so you can revisit them, until you delete them or your account.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the processors that make the service work: our hosting and database provider, our AI provider (for the analysis itself), Stripe (payments) and our email provider.
If a skincare professional runs an analysis for you as their client, that professional can see the analyses and preferences they created for you.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data at any time — most of it directly from your account, or by contacting us at matchcream.com/contact. Deleting your account removes your photos, reports and profile.
